Drags looking much more secure this week. Try to play the ex all rh drags then all left hand drags. Don't worry too much if they sound a little untidy to begin with. Once the mechanics are comfortable you can start to revive the technique and sound.
Have a play along to the track I emailed you. Focus on playing good swing time to start then see if you can add in some snare drums to "comp" along with the song.
Thursday 3:30pm
Here are the fill phrases you looked at today. Practice as a warm up first.
Then try to incorporate as both 8th note and 16th note fills

Practice the intro fill for ex no 1 and the fill in bar 5. Once they feel comfortable slowly work on playing them from memory.
Also the reverse para diddle in Barr 10. If you need a reminder of how it should sound and feel check out Tony Allen on spotify.
London Town: tidy up the grooves on the first page. You can play all the parts for this but now I want you to focus on making it feel solid and accurate.

Triplet stucking ex. Pick 1 pattern and work on accuracy and flow. Don't hit harder as you speed up.

Ex 1 from the rudimental ritual 1/4 nite drags over the alternating foot pattern.
Practice swing time with 1/4 notes and up beat 8ths in the left hand. Take your time and try to "hear" each ex as you play it!
